NOVA (novaexec.live) responds to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. If you believe a script, comment, image, or other material on the site infringes a copyright you own or are authorized to enforce, you can submit a takedown notice using the procedure below. We'll act on valid notices in a timely manner.

1. What to include in a takedown notice

To be effective under the DMCA (17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)), your written notice must include all of the following:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or someone authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed (or, for multiple works at one site, a representative list of them).
  3. Identification of the material that you claim is infringing and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate it — for NOVA, this means the script ID or full URL on novaexec.live.
  4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you — your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

2. Where to send it

DESIGNATED AGENT NOVA — Copyright Agent
Email: legal@novaexec.live
Subject line: DMCA Takedown — <script id or URL>

Notices missing any required element may be ineffective. We can't act on vague claims like "remove all scripts referencing my game".

3. What happens after we receive a valid notice

  • We disable access to the identified material.
  • We notify the user who uploaded it and forward a copy of the notice (with personal contact details redacted where appropriate).
  • We log the notice and the action taken.

4. Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you can submit a counter-notice. Send it to the address above with all of the following:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in the judicial district where your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which NOVA may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or that person's agent.

If we receive a valid counter-notice, we may restore the material in 10–14 business days unless the original notifier files a court action seeking an injunction.

5. Repeat infringers

NOVA terminates accounts of users who, in our reasonable judgement, are repeat infringers.

6. Misrepresentations

Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents either that material is infringing or that material was removed by mistake may be liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. Filing a notice in bad faith — for example, to harass another user — can have legal consequences for the filer.

7. Roblox and third-party rights

NOVA does not own or control Roblox, its games, or any external resources. Disputes about a script's interaction with a specific Roblox game should generally be raised with Roblox first. We still honour valid DMCA notices for material hosted on our service.
